causing boot to fail.
The snaps for seeding are downloaded with a custom snap tool for an
earlier cohort API (now deprecated). The assertions that it pulls are

The kernel from Andrea has been stable for me (no GPU hangs). The fans
seem to come on a little more than they did with the previous kernel
from Colin but certainly it's much better than the vanilla 5.4 was.

In my case, this turned out to be the kernel crashing when the e1000e
module was removed. I rmmod'd that in rc.local because when I originally
purchased the laptop, that module would suck power and battery life.
When I stop removing that module, the kernel doesn't crash and suspend,

It worked for me. I did this.
sudo grub-install /dev/sda
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot
I had 1 TB hard drive, with 5 partitions.
Ubuntu 18.04 (upgraded from Ubuntu 16.04 just now)

I have a Laptop connected to an USB-C dock. By default the docks analog
audio output is chosen as the default pulse audio sink. I want that the
analog output of the Laptop is the default, hence I configured this in
/etc/pulse/default.py
