I am joining the chorus only to confirm this seems to be related to a
specific set of hardware. I got the same result on an Acer Aspire 5,

I upgraded my kernel to 5.3.0-40.32 and qat_c3xxx caused hung task on my
dm_crypt devices.
I had to workaround by blacklisting qat_c3xxx.

snap
I can reproduce this bug, the same happens for me after a fresh install
of focal-daily. A workaround for me was to remove snapd and reinstall
it.

As this is subscribed to field-high and field-medium I am unsubscribing
field-high. There has been no update for 9 months to this bug. If folks

The SRU of curtin 19.3 is now complete to Xenial, Bionic, and Eoan. This
bug is thought to be fixed in all releases now. I am marking this fix

Just as a side note, I'm not sure why sysvinit script is provided at
all. The daemon seems to work just fine with the included systemd config
file in /lib/systemd/system/corosync-qdevice.service. Unless there's a
compelling reason to keep the sysv init script I'd ditch it, if only to
cut on the pot
