I just got hit by this. I'm using a laptop that I added a second disk
to. That changed the root disk from /dev/sda to /dev/sdb. The rpool got
imported fine so boot succeeded. However silently bpool did not get
imported. A couple of kernel updates were done over /boot inside rpool

Hi, this is a sporadic issue that sometimes appears, sometimes not.
Usually once it starts happening it occurs on every suspend/resume cycle
until the system is rebooted. The trackpad and the red trackpoint nub
stop working after resume. This is on a Thinkpad T440s laptop
I have a Dell 7567 laptop with NVIDIA and Intel GPUs and a very bad screen
tearing on Ubuntu 2004 and nothing seems to be able to fix it. Could something
be done about that?
At least with the proprietary drivers I have multiple windows support (mostly
99% of the time works).

So I decided on passing the whole IOMMU group into Windows. At first
sound didn't work in the virtual machine. But then I downloaded Realtek
driver from the ASUS website, installed it via bat file, manually
selected the "Realtek High Definition Audio Version 6.0.8794.1" driver
for the sound card

apt search coredumping
To manage notifications about
MySQL 8.0 packaging in Ubuntu should put new *.sys files into
/usr/share/mysql-8.0 to make it possible to have old and new libraries
installed *side by side*.
To stress it, this is not a MariaDB issue. This is about MySQL
introducing a backwards incompatible change and it needs to adjust for
it
Two months later and I still can't install ripgrep and bat. This is
fixed in the source, but can we have a new release for focal please?

After some trying, looks like there is some conflicts between ibus-libpinyin
and ibus-pinyin.
Things works fine after I removed ibus-pinyin and re-added the pinyin input
method in the setting panel.

I confirm that the installer boots into the graphical desktop when I
choose this option.
The next step is to install onto a temporary medium so I can check easily what
goes wrong with the default X11 or wayland settings.
