At least, I just discovered a workaround: by double clicking on the tray
icon, you can take a screenshot.
Instead, if you choose "Take a graphical screenshot" from the menu, you
can take a screenshot of the menu itself (i.e., it does not disappear
before the screenshot, making this menu entry

"could not back up files" dialog never shown; breaks
This bug is still open in Kubuntu 20.04!
A solution for people using SSD (I think today it's the vast majority)
and therefore using "noatime" is still missing.

I am also facing the same issue.
Currently using Kubuntu 20.04LTS
When I connect VGA monitor in Windows it works perfectly, but when I
connect it to Ubuntu it only shows the output on VGA display and the
LVDS turns black. If I connect a monitor via HDMI it works perfectly in
Ubuntu.
Any solution
