Sorry, please ignore my previous comment (comment 6); I'd copied the
netplan config from another machine and adjusted all the IPs, but forgot
to change the interface name, so the entries were ignored.
Basic IP connectivity was working since I have an encrypted volume
that's unlocked via the initrd
Reading the bug reports and trying to fix the problem, I think I might
have discovered some additional missing dependencies in the package.
I started from an qt-free system and installed ausweisapp2
1.20.0-1build1. Then I installed qml-module-qtquick-controls2 and qml-
module-qtqml-models2 manuall
Uggh. On a second system that I upgraded 16.04->18.04->20.04, I have
netplan installed and a configuration file in place. However, the DNS
entry in the netplan config is ignored, so even switching to netplan
doesn't fix this bug:-(

I've been getting this on Mixxx 2.2.4 (which somehow was released to

Actually I have checked this and nothing was being downloaded in the
background. Because when I tried to download anything from browser let's say a
movie of 1GB, it just took 1GB in downloading and nothing more than it.
But it is consuming more data only in the case of 'Discover'.
