also during this install ... I didn't get a chance to choose partition
size I selected to run along side windows 10... but before I
remember getting an option to size partitions for both operating
systems(unless that was because I selected a different install
option?!!?!?!)...

I can't reproduce this symptom in Focal though it is 12.1.0
it doesn't have commit 0a432c7fb107d04f7a41199fe9a8c4fbd344d009
I think xenial need fix as well, I can reproduce this in xenial,
I'm preparing debdiff for xenial as well
