Addition to #38. 20.10, it is booting on a fresh install to black
screen. The workaround is not fixing that (alone), the solution was
install all updates. But it is kind off difficult on terminal with no

module developers? Would have been happy to not use it but my laptop
(MacbookPro 6,2) freezes up for long periods when using the nouveau
driver for which the solution was to be using the nvidia driver...

I have been trying to enable the fingerprint reader on my laptop (Ubuntu 20.10)
for a while without succeeding.
When trying to enroll a fingerprint (both via Ubuntu gui or fprintd-enroll) I
get this error

Sorry for taking so much time to answer. I did uninstall Ubuntu Budgie
20.04 and installed Xubuntu 20.04 so i do not even use the exact same
system anymore. Unfortunately i cannot test my 128GB sdxc card now, and
i do not know how to answer your question properly.

revision 0xd6 using a microcode revision override when backporting
3.2028.1.
That is signatures 0x406e3 and 0x506e3. Override to revision 0xd6.
Otherwise, systems with old microcode (lower than 0x80) can hang.
