I briefly tried to reproduce this using X, but was unsuccessful, but
going back to Wayland, I was able to reproduce it. This time I did a
Ctrl-Alt-F3, and then a Ctrl-Alt-F1, and typed my password, and could

I suspect this is caused by bug 1932328 so we should at least wait for
the fix for that.

Thanks. That's either a kernel bug or a hardware fault, so let's assume
it's a kernel bug.
I suggest waiting for the fix for bug 1936708 to see if that's the issue
here. That one will be fixed in
