I have found a workaround that kind of works ... The problem is with the
sane library, so it has to be downgraded. I restored
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sane/libsane-genesys.so.1.0.27 from my
previous Ubuntu 18.04 installation and linked it instead of the current
version, and that's all, it works
Firefox running on Windows 10 is working correctly (latest version).
