There is an upstream fix for LP: #1934997 that sounds like it will be
included in sssd 2.7:

If version 2.7+ is merged in kinetic, please include LP: #1934997 as
fixed with that merge. Also evaluate if SRU should be considered for
the PR 6051 fix, and targ

Since requests is in main and charset-normalizer is in universe, it
either needs to be removed as a dependency or promoted for requests to
work. Since charset-normalizer is only needed as a backup for chardet,
which is in main, it should be removable without any issues.

PR 433 appears to have landed in March, but there has not been a new
release yet. Tagging this server-todo for someone to examine for
applicability to backport for SRU, and to consider backporting for
kinetic if a new release isn't likely to be forthcoming this cycle.

There's no patch for your laptop yet.
Assuming your sound bar is initialized through verbs (I suspect it is),
you'll need to find the verb sequence yourself:

doesn't even have any point releases so chances are reasonably high
you'll run into bugs.

Thanks for the quick responses. I followed the instructions to install
the latest version. Is it supposed to work if I installed 5.18 too? It's
not working and it stopped recognising my external monitors too.
