If you're still running into this issue, do you mind sharing which AppArmor
version are you running? For that you can run
apt-cache policy apparmor

Hi,
I've tried the 6.8.0-31-generic kernel, same result. I have posted
dmesg | grep ath11k output for that and 5.15 kernel on the bug report
page. I was trying to find which package to assign this to so
apport-collect would work, which one would be best?
Cheers,

As per request I booted the 6.8 unsigned kernel, same results.

So, the error was related to passt, not apparmor. This is because it
uses an incorrect rule in abstractions/passt.
By design, rules containing some options, such as runbindable, cannot
include a source.
I just sent the following patch for passt that should solve your issue

I just built the next version (debian/0.29.1-1) released by the package
maintainers at https://salsa.debian.org/electronics-team/klayout on
Ubuntu 24.04. This version works without issues.
Can we just sync up to debian/0.29.1-1?
