From a technical perspective I agree with you, but I would reason that
it's not really a change one would want end-users of the Ubuntu LTS
kernel to implement.
It comes back to the reasoning mentioned by @Andy in #70 and @Gustav in
#73: a kernel update on
updated zlib not to build the 32bit binaries, but it currently ftbfs
the gcc packages should be all done now, not building the s390x
multilibs anymore.

So if we leave it as is, services under wsgi will keep working, but
services NOT under wsgi will crash. If we make this change, services
under wsgi will suffer a performance regression (to be confirmed?), and
services NOT under wsgi will work. Is that the proposed tradeoff?

The package fails to build from source with default Java 21 due to
deprecation of Thread.stop().
The package updated override_dh_build target, and now runs a test that
invokes package's method that calls Thread.stop() causing a build timeout:

Thanks for confirming. I however can no longer erase the disk on the UI
with the following error

After upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on the Vivobook Go, the problem with
the messed up display seem to be solved. Abount 24 hours experience so
far is a lot better than before the upgrade.

I see in oracular there have been some iterations where more and more
qml and other missing dependencies were added. All of them are in this
SRU, except libqt5sql5-sqlite, which was added in 23.08.5-1. Doing a
test install of neochat in noble, I see that libqt5sql5-sqlite is
installed as a recommen
Uploaded a combined SRU for Focal (ubuntu2.12) on top of the latest security
update.
