"update-alternatives --config xulrunner-addons-flashplugin" is the right
command to switch between firefox

Subscribing, because integration of firefox (and thunderbird) in KDE still
needs a lot of manual interaction in Hardy.
Here's the current situation on a fresh Kubuntu Hardy install:
- The following actions open a plain file open dialog instead of having
(a) reasonable KDE defaults, or (b) offer K
Since it doesn't always happen, it might not really be fixed in
intrepid. Supplied another test to verify.

It seems that the problem does not always occur, so maybe it's not really fixed
in Intrepid.
In order to verify, I've figured out that it seems to happen with knotes
immediately:
1) open knotes
2) right-click and select "New Note"
3) write something into that note (e.g. "xxx")
4) close the note

When enabling "translucency / shadows" in "Window behavior" with default
settings, focused windows will stay transparent if they have been
minimized and then un-minimized again.
Steps to reproduce:
1) enable "use translucency / shadows" in KDE's
I've had this "issue" on a fresh install of Kubuntu Hardy.
I didn't see it as a bug, because I thought that "kicker" was just handled like
any other application that didn't have the focus.

confirmed on Hardy & kaffeine v0.8.6 (KDE 3.5.10).
When trying to open files directly from smb:// locations, I get "Error: Codec
package is already installed".
When I copy the file to a local drive, kaffeine can open it without problems.
VLC can open the file directly from smb://
