everytime a URL is being logged, we need to check if it is a symlink. If

Vincent, the method you explained is not a bug because the folder was
blacklisted after the file was moved. When the file was moved, then
zeitgeist did now know that this folder has to be excluded.
Now if the steps I mentioned above still shows test in lens, then it is
indeed a bug in zeitgeist/ac
Can you try these steps
1. Create a file in the Downloads folder (let's say it's called "test")
2. Open the files lens and search for that file. Note that it is listed (under
the heading Downloads).
3. Create a folder in the Downloads folder (let's say it's called "hidden").
4. Open Privacy setti

is too much expensive on resources.
Technical explanation aside, it needs to be done somewhere in GIMP -

When you remove the blacklist, then for that specific time when the
blacklist was set, the events are not logged and the person cannot know
what was done in that time period.
BTW all these logging and blacklisting is per user. It isn't system
wide.
