"File system loop detected" with btrfs over NFS

I have reported the bug also on the btrfs mailing list.
They say, it is a bug of the nfs server, which get confused about btrfs
snapshots.
As a consequence I cannot use (any more) btrfs on the Ubuntu 20.04 nfs server
(Ubuntu 18.04 is ok):

IT IS DECEMBER! I really need xsnow!
xsnow from xubuntu 12.04 has had no problems.

WE, who are subscribed to this bug, know that we have to disable nscd, but
what about all others?
Their (automatic) update mechanism is defunct and they will not get
ANY security updates (including the glibc fix), until they manually stop
nscd!
This is really a BAD situation!

Sound sett
headphones - audio being sent to both built-in and headphones. No
devices appear in the sound settings. Then I unplugged the headphones.
(From timestamp of the logfile I can see that none of my actions were
logged though).

In my Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS on a Fujitsu Lifebook E8020 I have repeated problems
with my audio. After restart the situation changes sometimes.
At the moment the situation is as follows. When plugging a headphone into the
3.5mm jack the audio is sent to both the built-in speaker

I am on ubuntu 12-04 /64 having said problem with missing menu in wammu.
I managed to solve the issue by removing the package "appmenu-gtk", hope, not
to run into other problems by this "solution".
