The reason you can't warp the pointer in a tablet VM is because the VM
guest has no pointer to warp. What you're seeing is only the host's
pointer, which of course the guest VM should have no power to move.
This would change if you press the keyboard combination to capture the
pointer. Then the VM

We have seen problems with Chrome (which includes Electron apps and
VScode) not resizing correctly with the tiling assistant. Although I
don't remember if it's the app's fault or the extension.

Those cases of:
