I believe I can clarify this bug. I don't get dual tray entries when
Adept launches after the enter your password dialog, but I do if I
open Adept during the window of time when I have the superuser
privileges.

the height to zero in the first place. I just loaded it up one day - no
updates were applied beforehand - and it had set itself that way.

This is a very strange bug. I discovered it while attempting to use
Adept's tags to find an e-mail client that was NOT command-line. I
clicked the not command-line tag and then started to enter e-mail

No, I don't.
However, this problem seems to have fixed itself. I'm not sure what
exactly was causing Dolphin to exhibit such strange behavior or why it's
no longer an issue, but I tried running it as root just now and the
Folders view functioned as it should.

I tried running opening a composer window by itself with the same
results. There must be something that sets it off when you use KMail to
