I am seeing the same blue hue problem with linux-restricted-
modules-2.6.24-16-generic. The driver is the Nvidia restricted driver
and the video card is the nVidia Corporation GeForce 8400M GS (rev a1)
in a Dell XPS M1330.

It may have been a problem with the css cache. Once I deleted the
.dvdcss directory playback started working again for me.

This may be a kernel issue but I am not sure. On a Dell XPS m1330, the
integrated memory card reader does not work with Memory Sticks even
though it is said to support SD/MMC - MS/Pro. It was tested and works
with SD cards.

In Hardy: If I have the desktop effects turned on, when I wake the
laptop after I suspend it, the password dialog is invisible and a white
screen is displayed instead. Typing the password and pressing Enter
brings back the desktop though.
