Yesterday I made 14.04 installation on another computer. (The computer has four

The Gimp is totally useless because of the unity-panel-service 100% CPU
usage...

There is a solution: env UBUNTU_MENUPROXY= gimp (or any program)
This disable the global menu on a per application.

This promlem is still in Intrepid (0.12.3-1) and still in Karmic (0.15).
I compiled git source (0.15) but this problem is same.
I tried to remove .recently-used.xbel but it didn't help.

Powermizer work 3 performance level
0 - 169Mhz
1 - 275Mhz
3 - 475 Mhz
My laptop default performance level = 0
NV Clock = 169Mhz (with screen refresh problem)
