Thanks for the quick response. I don't see any errors recorded in /var/crash
so the word 'crash' might not be the correct wording.
I want to give a brief description of what I am seeing in the logs that
I believe indicates a crash is happening and then I will attached the

I have created a python script that will log into an Ubuntu 20.04 ever
second to test logging in via sssd. In my configuration, sssd is
configured to authenticate LDAP requests.

uncomment the line "DNS" in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf and put list of
DNSes with first VPN's DNS then your normal DNS, then it will always try
to go through the VPN's DNS first even if you're not trying to access a
resource f

There is no Recycle Bin when pressing Shift+Del. The file just goes away
without confirmation.
And Nautilus does ask you when pressing Shift+Del. So should the Desktop.
When pressing just Del then the Desktop should give the option to Undo
it. If you want the same behaviour as Nautilus.

This audio problem seem to be only happening when I reboot from Windows to
Ubuntu. To fix it I have turn off the computer and turn it on again. Rebooting
doesn't fix it.
If I turn it off after using Windows and cold start it to boot to Ubuntu there

I have the same laptop and I want to keep it. I would like to say that
practically everything is working except:
* Suspend and hibernation,
* 4k60 via USB-C's display port. I use HP's G5 docking station and this is
working in Windows.
Both issues can be replicated on kernels 5.8.5 and 5.9.0rc3.
And dmesg with some debug info.
I would really like to help to fix this issue but I have no idea what to

Thanks for the background info, in 2.7 MAAS started modelling the speeds
of interfaces and links, so I expect that 2.6 will not have the same
problem.

switch-on-connect mistakes startup for USB
The distorted audio problem just came back. I think it has something to do with
this system being dual boot (Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04). When I only use
Ubuntu there is no problem. As soon as I stop using Windows and reboot to
Ubuntu the noise comes back.

By the way this bug, like the previous copy/paste issues, is specific to
X11. I just logged into Ubuntu 20.04 in a Wayland session and could not
reproduce this bug there, either using Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V or the Copy/Paste
context menu items.
