I am having the same issue - I enter my google talk credentials, and whether I enter the server name or leave it blank, check old ssl or leave it blank, or check encryption required or leave it blank I get the same results: it connects, shows available for a second, then disconnects with a "no reas

Thanks, that explains why the kernel was in /boot but grub wasn't updated. Any idea how this would have occurred from the upgrade? The preceding warnings don't seem serious enough to be the source and bot /boot and /boot/grub do exist on my system... -- I upgraded from 6.10 to 7.04 and the kern
