I agree with Colin, I think the terms fit with the rest of the
documentation. I don't think separating the OpenSSH section into client
and host/server would make much sense considering the length and depth
of the section. The Server Guide to this point has been written with
people new to Ubuntu i
stall.
Can you try the Server Guide instructions again, and confirm this is the
case for you. On a clean install of Ubuntu 10.10 that is the case for
me.

I did look through the attached files, but like you said it doesn't seem
to tell you much. I suggested running slapd in debug mode knowing that
most of the output won't be needed, but when slapd stops responding
there should be clear errors in the output... or at least something to
point in the ri

Thanks for catching that Jens. The ACL section needs to be updated to
use the new:
sudo ldapsearch -c -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -b cn=config
format. I'll try to get that updated.

Thanks for reporting this bug, and helping make Ubuntu better. The
command to restart Samba in Lucid is:
sudo restart smbd
The Samba init scripts have been migrated to Upstart and the Server
Guide will need to be updated.
