I used padevchooser to send the sound to both my headphones and
speakers, I don't see any "functionality" moved to pavucontrol or KDE
config tools to do that.

Not cleared here. It's very annoying, after this happens killing the
process doesn't solve the problem I have to log off and log back in.
I wonder if it has some connection with the sounds that Gnome apps make
when you click on the buttons (don't know how to get rid of it in KDE)

I confirm, Opera with plugins turned on is unusable in Gutsy whernever I
open a page that has Flash (and most of the sites now have), while in
Feisty it works (albeit poorly but at least it doesn't maximixe CPU
usage).
