This happens on Ubuntu 7.10 and Heron as well, also note that USB is the last hard drive to boot in the BIOS config, so I really dunno why Grub is trying to boot from it, this also happens if I have a flash Memory stick plugin while booting. Can someone please look into this problem as soon as

Public bug reported: After installing Ubuntu 7.04 386 on a acer aspire 9810 post the 1st reboot if USB flash drive is plugged in a error 22 will show instead of the bootloader (grub), this only happened while the usb drive was plugged in after removing the drive and rebooting grub loaded just

This is a wild shot but it may help, I have seen this happen on my system if I had a usb flash drive plugged in while rebooting it would give the same error 22, after removing the usb drive and rebooting grub booted just fine. -- grub error 22 when trying to boot to hde
