I am disappointed to see the same mistake has been carried over to
Ubuntu 16.04 which installs Blender 2.76 by through default
repositories. It has been years and Ubuntu developers still have not
been building Blender properly for the release. Is it not clear that a
critically important feature of

network-manager does not autoconnect to wifi
Didn't want to install another 222 MB of software for konsole. Installed
guake instead (only 1 MB of extra disk space). Didn't find guake
impressive at first glance. Will try to configure it to make it like
gnome-terminal.

Yes, I confirm what Darrell says but for Ubuntu 13.04.
Running dia-normal 0.97.2 on ubuntu 13.04 renders exactly one mangled letter in
each of about 30% of the words in the exported files. Most of the mangled
letters are uppercase but few lower case letters are also affected.
