I've just upgraded from Jaunty to Karmik and and my PCI USB 2.0 card
seems to be recognized (and I'm not sure of that since I've seen
something referring to it but right now on lspci it's not listed, plus

After few Pulseaudio updates the problem is still present, now the

To me Synaptic works in Gnome but not in Kde 4.1 (from ppa repos), it
freezes in the end. I quit synaptic and the packages are correctly
installed.

Just updated feisty with new xorg, new nvidia Legacy driver and new
compiz. I've rebooted then, after login screen, i got only mouse and
wallpaper, no bars, no icons, no windows no left click avaiable.
I rebooted, using kernel 2.6.20-12 and then i got the same but with

yeah.. that's true... i'm studing at university and i can understand
something about programming and something about linux.. but i've found
strange the way the package came out and the:"Ok, you have nvidia
legacy, now i'll install drivers for new nvidias.."

Ok. It says that i have nvidia legacy drivers (Installed) but it removes and
installs nvidia-glx.
After making dpkg-reconfigure ... it doesn't work because in xorg.conf appears
driver apm.
Obviously i change apm to nvidia and it doesn't work.
I hope it wouldn't be a package for recent nvidia on
dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg returned me the same results as
dpkg-reconfigure WITHOUT -phigh option.
By the way, i'll retry in a few minutes.
I'm not so pratice in linux, so if you need some logs or other things
just give me some locations where i should find them and i'll copy them

for my kernel and of course the relative linux-restricted-modules.
No problems at all 'till i've discovered a few seconds in tray bar loading.

I've done update-manager -d because the first time i've tried with a CD i've

After updating Feisty 1 hour ago i've accepted to overwrite gdm.conf-custom
(During updates installation).
After that i've rebooted and KDE was perfect.
I've added the XGL settings to gdm.conf-custom and KDE returned slow in
