This could be a number of things, I can't help thinking that it sounds
like a hardware issue like a power spike or something. If it always
happens with that USB key then try a different one :) if thats the only
time it happened then I wouldn't worry too much about it but definitely

The bug here is that it is not handled automatically. The user should not be
required to edit fstab at all when using ubuntu but they might well be
expected to remove a windows partition once they got used to using ubuntu

Hi Baskar,
When you say it doesn't work do you mean that you don't get any network
interface at all with this card under 7.10 or 7.04? Or that you are
suffering from this specific bug? If you don't get any network interface at
all then thats a separate issue and you should check the ubuntu forums
server 2.0 on the OS what i am going to install

Baskar

At last this seems to be resolved. I have had no further issues since

So far so good. I have only been back from holiday for a couple of days
but have been using the affected system extensively since then. So far
there have been no issues what so ever but as can be seen from earlier
reports, a few days can go by without this bug surfacing.

Just tested with Gutsy rhythmbox and it seems to be resolved.
1. open rhythmbox and select a folder containing mp3's and also ticked watch

3. added a new mp3 to mp3 folder.
4. restarted
