This bug seems to affect all of the gnome UI (and it's not a xorg
issue), so I'm assigning it to meta-gnome2, as that looks like the best
fit so far.

This bug affects my x86 laptop and my x86_64 desktop. I wondered if it
was somehow related to the new Ubuntu theme, but that does not seem to
be the case (the problem appears when using other theme engines as
well). However, testing with xev shows that the button press and release

I found this very confusing as well. There is nothing to indicate that
dragging the panel now requires the user to hold down alt. The gnome-
panel help only says "Drag a panel to another side of the screen to move
it there. Click on any vacant space on the panel to begin the drag."

Hmm. Some users reported instability with WPA. How long have you been using
it?
Also, Realtek released a new driver, but I haven't been able to download it
yet. If someone has it and can upload it, I'd appreciate it.

The RTL8187SE is a miniPCI version of the Realtek 8187 wireless chipset.
Until recently, it had no linux driver. A user on the msiwind.net forums
