The problem is that /usr/share/applications/claws-mail.desktop is
missing mimetype.
The workaround is:
1. add MimeType=x-scheme-handler/mailto;
into /usr/share/applications/claws-mail.desktop
2. run update-desktop-database

I remember that I reported sometime ago that this bug was fixed in Edgy,
next release was also OK. Unfortunately I dont have any laptops with HPA
to test it now. But maybe status fixed is more appropriate.

As I mentioned before there is no need to apply this patch, as it is
already in kernel and intel git sources, just take the latest version
from desired source and compile it for yourself.

Could you attach you lspci -nnv ?
Also you can check that i915_drv.h has your device inside it, something like:
grep -m 1 -A 5 IS_I945GM(dev)
path_to_local_git_files/drm/linux-core/i915_drv.h
I am using latest git with 8086:27ae without patching and have running
compiz.

I compiled vanilla 2.6.24.4 kernel and applied git drm modules, same
problem. Please note that debian kernel use stock intel drm which is
version 1.6 or something, which works fine.

I have the same problem and I think the problem is in i915 drm module,
which is located in linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic package.
I think so because when you load i915 modules you get
DRM: drm_get_dev failed.
and nothing is in /dev/dri/
Unfortunately there is not much information when drm
Unfortunately, I dont have anymore radeon video adapter and cant test if this
bug still persist.

Same for me.
Was trying to use bogofilter as junk filtering plugin. It was not working until
Ive disabled Spamassassin plugin.
Now Junk filtering works via bogofilter just fine.

I cant find any messages related that D2 sleep enabled even if Im loading
radeonfb module with video=radeonfb:force_sleep.
And powerdrain during sleep is the same high with force_sleep and without it.
It is about 2800 mW.

For me it seems fixed in Edgy. HPA area is accessible after resume and works
w/o any problems. (made dd tests, etc.). Using suspend nearly one week.

I can confirm that bug on Edgy. Evolution-exchange doesnt use proxy
settings and I couldnt manage to establish connection to intranet OWA
URL using proxy server to access intranet http/https.

Before it came to edgy Ive used my deb which was using libnspr/libnss from
Firefox 2 and it was working OK also.
Just wonder why we need to have additional nss/nspr library if it is already
installed with Firefox?
