Turns out that lmod 6.6.0 went out in October 2016, and this creates a

Scalasca 1.4 is not supported since 2013. This bug should be closed as

Scalasca2/Score-P is a full rewrite and is currently supported by
several research teams across the world.

GDM works, altough the username characters look garbled, missing their
upper part.
The first time, it went all though showing the menu bars, but with weird
greenish dots on the text. Mouse worked, everything else didn't.

it tells you the status of cpu0 and cpu1 separetedly, as when there's a

Just to clarify, this is not the message that appeared on MY machine.
The firmware is way newer than it (2.7.0.0 I think). As I have no

In fact, i've been installing systems with edgy, and then upgrading them
to feisty. If I create a new account on feisty, the new account should
reflect these settings.
Given the nature of firefox's bookmarks, I don't think this can be fixed
anyway.

printing this pdf to a file produces a ps file which is not shown both
by evince as well as gs-esp. And this output.ps fails to be converted to
pdf using ps2pdf.
