Hope Nvidia96 driver will be available soon, so that I can enjoy those
new features in 12.04!

I want to thank Ubuntu too, as it is really great and I use it daily.
As a suggestion, Ubuntu may consider adding a simple checking warning
in future if similar problem happening again, as I worryXorg 1.11
may... ^_^

Last time upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10, I got deep trouble with nvidia-96.
This time upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04, I got deep trouble with nvidia-96 again!!

Just feel disappointing as likewise problem happening again.
Xorg developers should pay great attention to backward compatibility..

Exactly! My little son is a pure Ubuntu user, and feel proud of Linux
(People can live happily without Windows!!)

As a quick temporary solution, use VESA driver la!
Just need to edit 1 line in xorg.conf.
I am using VESA driver now, don't feel much different (though cannot run
3D games).

As a temporary solution, I edit xorg.conf, and change:

At least, we can run xWindows ^_^
