You can't just remove stuff because you don't like it! That's
appallingly bad manners.
Abominade https://github.com/aliafshar/a8 depends on this package and
overhauling it will require a lot of work - it doesn't use gi at all.
Please reconsider adding the package back. Good distros don't break
Definite bug somewhere. It was always risky running dbus inside Python
inside Vim, and I guess this has blown up now. Can anyone reproduce this
with a vanilla Vim?

I have this problem on Lucid. I have /etc/gre.d/1.9.2.13.system.conf
with contents:
[1.9.2.13]
GRE_PATH=/usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2.13
xulrunner=true
abi=x86_64-gcc3
(identical to Andi Albrecht)
p.s. A fix involving hand-editing system-owned files is absolutely
nothing more than a really bad hack.
After a while playing with this, the safest thing to do appears to be
running your application.ini explicitly using xulrunner directly:
xulrunner-1.9.2 application.ini
Oh for the days when things worked.

I can reproduce using USB, and from the bug report linked above, this
fix still works:

I would guess it is related to the autodetection procedure that is ?new

Really bad bug closure (imo). I can still reproduce it on the current
release of Ubuntu, with a similar mouse/trackball. The bug still stands,
please don't be sidetracked by the O.P.'s impressions of what was
causing it. Reopening.

There is a new thing in Intrepid that auto-detects this stuff, and will
allow us to change settings at runtime, with one day a graphical UI
