I've dropped Evolution long time ago. Specificaly because it's lack of
USNET compatibility. I hope that Canonical makes compatible the
Indicator Applet and the clock and calendar with Thunderbird.

I believe that more is less and less is more.
If we clutter the Right and Left with unnecessary buttons... we are
doomed. Most of Ubuntu changes doesn't comply with the Gnome HIG. If
Canonical want's to in roads with the UI and human interfaces it going
to be vital to adhere to the Gnome HIG or,
I was thinking the same as Diff Handy: What will be of Gnome Shell? All
this works would be on vain because Gnome 3.0 it's at the corner. For my
part I really love the standard Gnome 2.28, and I've used Windows, KDE2,
KDE3 and Gnome 1. I must say the Gnome classical interface is the best
there is
I hate the new theme, I hate the new GDM, I hate half baked solutions
for the distro. Canonical is being too edgy on releases, that's the
other extreme to debian (lagging a lot on releases for stability).
I'm migrating to another distribution. This bug for me is closed.

It it an issue in Jaunty. The problem is in the kernel, I have crypt-
fs... during BIOS it's ok but under kernel (type password for sda-
crypt...) the keys are swaped. Same result with Jaunty. My bets guess is
that Apple Keyboard patch. But since it's just this model affected
(Jaunty on a HP DV7

yet to download Intrepid Final.

Apparently Rhtythmbox in Hardy doesn't save information to it's TAG...
it's save it under {home}/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml
So, why not in the properd tag?

Intrepid.
I just found that it's a nightmare ID3v1 AND ID3v2. A very useful
feature/plugin for Rhythmbox should be able to deal with this. On the

important under a desktop environment. Ubuntu primary Desktop
environment is Gnome, so if we want a consistent user interface we

blinking? It's annoying I/O blink, in feisty it's was on connection and
when it was activated. Some people likes the blink... other not (me!).

See, I don't like the blink on traffic, but other people do.
Should we open a wishlist report for this feature: That the blink can
be controlled by option on module loading, with on, activity and off as
options?
And why it won't be fixed on Hardy?

Got it from the repos yesterday and it's been 24 hours testing it and it
works well. Now I'm investigating some lockups/freeze on Hardy (No need
to reboot but it's annoying). That, the wifi LED and Hardy it's stable
for me.

I asked them, they didn't told what exactly they did. I just knew that
they asked for parts to HP USA, those parts were a MOBO and a ney
touchpad. The service was made by SONDA Uruguay.
But my touchpad was not working on any OS (Windows, Linux... err that's
it)

My touchpad is working, it got back from the HP service center on my
country (it took them a month to belive me that's not a software problem
but hardware! HP Service department it's so good!).

Found Synaptics Touchpad.
Firmware: 8.96 (multiple-byte mode).
A suggestion to everyone: post your machine model and specs.In this way
we can see if there common hardware to complain. And anyone who can
please test another OS to see if the software is the problem or if it's
the touchpad.

On Hardy Beta the keyboard worked fine, but on a clean install with
Hardy Alternate i386 Final the Ctrl and Fn keys are swapped. I
configured the keyboard as a ACPI Standard and Latin-american keyboard
map. Shortcuts works with Ctrl (Bright Up, Down, Volumen Up, Down, Mute,
On comment #7 and #8 I tested the latest Git of Intel 2.2.99 (aka
2.3RC1) and the latest DRM. There's something on the kernel not the
modules.
