[Bug 990586] [NEW] Wireless radio cannot be turned on

Public bug reported: After updating to Linux 3.2.0-24-generic, if wireless radio is off, turning it on (using relavant function key) will not enable wireless and bluetooth in the network-manager. If I turn on wireless radio switch and reboot the machine then wirless gets enables and it connects to
