I confirm, after a clean install again, everything is working, I think
this was an Nvidia driver bug not gnome gdm3, as follows my system
configuration:
ubuntu gnome 16.04
Kernel: 4.4.0-22-generic
nvidia driver: 367.18 installed from ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
my gpu is: GeForce GT 740M
running on

yes I know about that it's not my connection it's the ISA proxy, yes I did the
export command to set proxy for bash, and thats another problem concerning
reporting bugs for people behind secured proxy.

this temporary fix works but just if you know the IP or Machine name on

samba on lucid works very well as a server but not as client, it keeps asking
