/dir` and then access the files also from cli, there are no issues. The
segfault happens when accessing the mounted folder with nautilus.

This problem was actually composed of two independent bugs. The first
one was related to grub: here are the details and the solution:

Another bug was in the Ubuntu installer incorrectly informing initramfs-
tools about the necessary drivers to load

Actually, the solution proposed by François Marier should work, but only
if you have one RAID array and this array is called md0.

Hi! I have the same problem: install everything and boot in EFI mode,
then I see "error: efidisk read error" and I get grub> prompt. I found a
fix not mentioned here: after the install, boot from a LiveCD, install
