I have this problem too with ubuntu server 2.6.20-16 with two instances of ntpd
running the first running as ntp and the second as root.
The ntp script has seq higher than DNS script.

I have 7.04 fully updated running on a Dell Vostroand noticed that Samba shares
created in my hard drive or CD-ROM driver are fully functional in Nautilus,
instead it is impossible to enter shares created on a USB external drive.
However the Samba shares are fully functional when accessing via LA
