I'm an happy linux tester, i don't believe about distro wars, so here i
am to report that bug that looks affect kernel 2.6.31 and not openSUSE
(my distro) or ubuntu (your distro).
Both, openSUSE 11.2 and Ubuntu 9.10 have kernel 2.6.31 and both freeze
after few minutes. This

i installed opensuse 11.2 with 2.6.31 kernel plus kernel 2.6.27 (the
one shipped with opensuse 11.1 )
result:
kernel 2.6.31 -- freeze
kernel 2.6.27 -- perfectly working
how can i try to do the same with ubuntu?
