The same problem ocurred only recently on my machine running Win 7 64
bits. The strange thing is that the WiFi works perfectly when the tiny
power plug on the upper left side is removed (that is: the netbook
running on battery only). It looks like a hardware problem within the
netbook. The WiFi may catch too much noise when the power source is
plugged in. Tried a different transformer but the problem remained.
