Thanks for the update, two things:
1. If it's fixed, why is the report "Invalid" and not "Fix Released"?
2. If the fix is only in an upcoming release (i.e. not published in Ubuntu),
why is the report closed and not "Fix Committed"?

The "geeqie-gps" package was removed in debian/ubuntu because it relies
on deprecated libraries, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=648430. geeqie has to be ported to GTK3 for it to
reappear.

This really is a support question, not a bug in seahorse: most likely
the permissions of your ~/.gnupg folder and it's contents are wrong.
This happens when you run software with root privileges that change
stuff in hour /home directory. Use gksudo for those.
What does the command 'ls -la ~/.gnupg
