I can confirm this in current Jaunty. Also, pressing the browser's Back
button tends to bring down Firefox ~50% of the times (sometimes more
often). This is a running plague with mplayerplug-in throughout
releases. It amazes me how it always appears again and again.

prereleases) and when I remove the power adaptor of my laptop, the whole
desktop becomes unresponsive for about 10 seconds or more. Clicking,
dragging etc just doesn't work, all the actions are carried out aft

I have found out that DPMS stuff actually works AFTER RECOVERING from a
suspend to ram/disk. It does not work on a first clean boot but after a
suspend action it works just fine. I'm using KDE 4.2 Beta2.

I am using Intel's X3100 with the GM965 chipset. With intel driver
version 2.5.1 from Jaunty.
Both Supertux and Tremulous work. Albeit Tremulous is very slow at
times. Maybe it's because of the intel driver that only gets like 220
FPS in glxgears.

I have an identical crash with 2.6.27. It doesn't happen with 2.6.26.
Usually it happens with the first (possibly second too) boot with
2.6.27. Then it boots fine. So this error appears on cold boots for me.
2.6.26 boots well in any situation though.

I experience the same and it doesn't depend on the program. The whole
Windows display just freezes (sometimes it's a 2/3 screen wide
horizontal bar in the middle that gets frozen or smth) and doesn't
unfreeze until I resize the window.

By the way, xev reports my side buttons as buttons 6 and 7 AND they
indeed work as horizontal scrolling... Only that they obviously aren't
meant for that behaviour. My mouse (MX310) doesn't even have 9 buttons.
So I have no idea who got the codes wrong here. Maybe someone can clear
it up.

I'm using Hardy with KDE4 and the latest kernel. And about
/proc/cpuinfo. Hmm.. it always used to show the current frequency for
me. With the ondemand governor my Core2Duo was conveniently clocked to
800MHz. Now it just sits on 2GHz all the time which is probably quite a
power hog.

I have installed mozilla-mplayer on my Kubuntu Hardy and firefox-3.0
doesn't detect the mplayer plugin so no media gets played. I tried
symlinking the plugins from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to
/usr/lib/xulrunner/plugins but it didn't help.
