no need to downgrade, as we now that it wasn't that upgrade
specifically. However if you've got the time please check the bug
#359392 already mentioned and specially the comment
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/353898/comments/18 and run
the repro.sh and metacity_stress.sh scripts
i was able to get a bt from a tipical freeze for this bug. *without
kernel panic, nor caps lock tiling*
hope the backtrace includes interesting information.

Lama, did your tried what Daniel suggested?
First, killall pulseaudio aplay -Dplughw:0
/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
Also, to now the right quirk please test which model works fine with intrepid,
adding to the end of alsa-base.conf the line snd-hda-intel model=
probably not all of
i would prefer the files from the original reporter, as this is a dupe
from another bug but i need to check if the warning is from a test-
suspend-seconds issue or if it's from a different one, however if you
send it would be fine.
@Spider: men, you've got problems... most probably your RAM
change i386 for amd64 in the path.
