Ok, I purged the ndiswrapper-common and ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 packages, then deleted the remaining files in /etc. I reinstalled those packages and configured them for my card, and it worked the next time I booted. So it seems like this is some issue with upgrading and the configuration. --
