I haven't had any problems with this in a while... sorry I forgot to get
back to you.
Madwifi works great, thanks for all the work.

Lots of tabs open, usually switching between them when firefox dies.
Not sure what exactly is killing it.

For Feisty alpha... installing the linux restricted modules causes an
EIP problem with the ath module. For some weird reason, installing this
package also makes my sound driver die (volume control complains of no
sound driver).
I'll attach the related parts of the logs

Before the change, I could sleep with the "whitelisted module"
workaround", but now, my computer doesn't go to sleep fully (I have a
thinkpad, and I get a moon and a battery led illuminated, and the fan is
still on).
Any ideas?

Public bug reported:
Network Manager will, from time to time, "lose" a network i know is
there...
(I know it is there because nothing has happened to the AP, and my
computer hasn't moved).
I'm not sure why it does this, but it will suddenly not be able to find
the network.
If i can help you get
well... thats not a big deal
So this is a workable solution to this problem at the moment (though i'm
kind of curious what caused the e1000 module to suddenly start making the
machine crash when suspending, and why that problem hasn't been fixed)

Is there a downside to whitelisting the e1000 module?

I can't get a screenshot of the kernel panic anymore... I changed
something, and now my screen just goes blank, it doesn't show the panic
anymore.

it says "Kernel Panic - not syncing, fatal exception in interrupt"
if you need more information i reproduce and write down everything that
shows up on my screen.
