Was the result of an upgrade from 13.04. Everything went ok and after
the reboot when I tried to install some extra packages with synaptic,
the dependency problems appeared. Had to manually purge the older
libboost packages before I was able to install the 53 version. After
this everything looks

Was generated at the end of an upgrade from 13.04 to 13.10. Had to

Zenity do not work?
To manage
I have the same problem with 12.04 LTS. The issue seems to be that the
dhcpd daemon is pointing to the wrong default. I was able to get it
working by adding the following to the /etc/init/isc-dhcp-server.conf
for the exec line at the bottom. Changing it to:
exec /usr/sbin/dhcpd -f -q -4 -pf
Confirmed as affecting 12.04 after this mornings updates.

Not even certain what caused this bug - but had just logged into irc via

this seems the most important to report.

Seem likely to be similar/same issue here, only I'm only using the
Radeon driver with my Ati HD4200 gpu.
As I was initiating irc broadcast account - popup causing crash seem
likely.
Freshly upgraded to 11.04 from 10.10 (and all way back to Karmic!)

Binary package hint: chromium-browser
Using menu to nav to 'report problem' option opens chrome:bugreport/#123
type page.
Editing url to chrome:bugreport (curiosity :P) then causes issues:-
attempt to close tab crashes browser with segfault.
This probably shouldn't happen!

+1. Had to install (9.04) by removing laptop hard disk to USB caddy,
then use 2nd PC to install (laptop has broken cdrom + won't boot from
USB) This worked fine* however, the laptop has French keyboard layout,
but on boot to fresh install on laptop, X and console are still US
layout, easy enough
Additional: A possible solution is to run:
dpkg-reconfigure console-data
to redefine default keyboard layout of the console, and presumably X
also, see:
http://www.malcolmhardie.com/weblogs/angus/2006/05/02/change-console-
keyboard-layout-in-debian/
Not tried this yet, but no doubt will
