this PDF was generated on windows from a powerpoint slide. On windows, it has
some gradated arrows (green/blue) from the left-hand green shape (house) to the
left blue vertical bar, and from the right blue vertical bar to the the
right-hand gree

In the plugins section of the gedit docs on Lucid, the Indent Lines
plugin is still there, and still says to use Edit->indent, and in the

Am seeing the same thing (mine's in English) since I upgraded to
Lucid from Karmic last week.
Network Manager Applet v0.8 on Lucid.
The SIM has no PIN number, but as soon as I click on the name of the
mobile broadband profile it prompts for a "mobile broadband network
password", repeatedly. A
The FUSA app was made much more sensible in Jaunty, and so is all fine

am seeing this bug on a clean Karmic install.
it's as if the file chooser dialogue is "inactive" in some way... if you
click one of the buttons (a radio button, or check box), e.g. all files
or selected files (even if it's the same one as is already selected,
when you click "extract" it works fine

good combination in *any* terminal, but (as the examples I've now posted
on the gnome-terminal bug show) you're right, they are rendered much
worse in gnome-terminal than on other terminals (e.g. konsole)

re-reading this, and just thinking from a basic usability point of view,
blue and green are very close together in visual terms - the most common
form of colour-blindness is blue/green, which makes them much harder to
distinguish for a lot of people.

Surprised and disappointed at this outcome - everyone agrees it's hard
to read for most people.
This is a basic accessibility bug - anyone with even mildly worse
eyesight than ours is going to find it even harder to read!

with Nvidia proprietary drivers.
This can be fixed by moving the "Hue" slider, as indicated above.
Suggests to me this is a Totem problem, and one which could be fixed.

On Hardy 8.04.1... after accidentally saying "yes" to the offer of a
cleanup after a partial install of something on package manager, t
Resume after suspend on Lenovo T61 with Nvidia graphics card *was* working,
albeit with about a one minute wait with a flashing underline cursor during
resume until something (presumaby) timed out and the password panel appeared.
But at least it worked!
Then last week, some new upgrades.. Nvid
seeing the same on T61 with Nvidia graphics card.
Sometimes the flashing _ stays for about 1 minute, then the login prompt
comes up... other times it "never" (OK, as long as my patience lasts)
returns.
Oh, and the crescent moon standby LED flashes all this time as well.
