I always wonder if there is any department in the ubuntu team which is

nmbd in maverick and natty also. My workaround is to restart it via
rc.local like:

Why isn't it in the repos? Sure, i am clearly capable of installing
binary from nvidia or using someone's ppa.
But this is Ubuntu. Main staff said it's for human beings. Not scripting
nerds. Ubuntu released a version without support for older gfx cards
without a real warning in the update manager.

Grouping of facebook users gets lost after restart of Empathy.
I created a new group and drag&dropped all fb users in there. After a
restart all are "not in list" again.

When i am added by an icq user i won't see any information about him
except his account number. I always have to search on icq.com to find
out that it is russian spam again. (99,7% of all cases)

Harm reputation is the most correct way to describe it!
Such small showstoppers have to be fixed. Its about the overall feeling using

Checking "Connect automatically" in the configurations tab of VPN connections
does nothing.
It's like that for at least a year now.
I would like to see it connecting to my VPN after a wireless/wired
internet connection was activated.

I cannot find any option to change volume of my 2 lineout/headphones
channels seperately. The Volume always changes "master" level for all
lineouts. In KDE i was able to set it to different lineouts.
