I really dont know why it kept happen on all Linuxs after im installing
secound linux for my Latop, i turned fastboot & so on off and still
same, i didnt changed anything after i got sussesful installing my first
linux, after installing secound linux it ALWAYS failed sadly
This bug still exists today. No way to limit RAM usage of apps, no
mention of this in the limits.conf example file which still has examples
for rss.

The nohpet option worked for me for a while, but then the problem came
back again. I had found in another post that intel_idle.max_cstate=0
also worked. For me the second option worked intermittently, but both
options together are working consistently. I have a page with more

When I updated Ubuntu via the update manager - Update Manager broke my
NVidia Drivers, and Unity wouldn't load, it said I should be using the
classic desktop, surprising as It's not exactly a crap computer
Anyway, I downloaded NVidia's drivers from their website and I killed

It is very horrible of a distro to remove easy access to essential
libraries like GTK+ 1.2.x and libstdc++5.x, which are required by
thousands of programs still used by Ubuntu users. It isn't hard to
maintain two libraries, yet these two libraries cause more issues when
missing than any other
