Ok, follow these instructions:
1- you have to add some required repositories:
run in command line:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
and add at the end of the file these four lines:
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy main universe
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com hardy-updates main universe
do not worry, I am able to reproduce the crash.
