Why is this a big issue?
If using Pulse, sound is getting interrupted by static every time loading a new
page in FireFox.
If removing pulse and use ALSA instead, gnome controls don't support
that anymore (GNOME 2.28). WHO had the idea to force the use of
pulseaudio
Confirmed in 9.04. Toggle audio recording from capture is working but
the GUI button in volume-control doesn't update and always remain in
"off" position.

When I enter the fullscreen mode, everything goes fine in the first
moments but after, if I move the mouse the Status bar starts to flash
and can't really click on it or use it. I expect for the bar to remain
stable so I can use it. I guess :)
